Our academic associate members

AEV

  •

Since 2022, we have welcomed academic establishments to become academic associate members and form our Academic working group, gaining access to our member portfolio. Our current academic associate members have utilised these connections to initiate and evolve mentor programmes and placements for event management students who can apply their theory knowledge and experience the nature of working in an event venue.

Testimonials

MMU

"Manchester Metropolitan University are thrilled to become Academic Associates of the AEV. Both the organisation and its members have gone above and beyond for our institution over the years, supporting our events management students and getting involved with the various initiatives that we run such as our annual Connect Conference and Events Management mentoring scheme. With this official link now, we are looking forward to developing many new avenues with the AEV members which will continue to shorten the bridge between events academia and industry."
