We have a fantastic opening for an Event Operations Co-ordinator to join our Exhibitions Event Management team.
You’ll be working at the UK’s largest event space and number one exhibition venue. Home to your favourite shows and voted the AEO venue of the year 4 times, we host over 500 events each year, welcoming 2.3 million visitors and over 45,000 exhibiting companies!
About The Role
This role is responsible for supporting the NEC business and Event Management by providing Event Support services to the team alongside specific administrative duties. Day to day you will:
- Independently lead on the co-ordination of tribune seating (taking event bookings and scheduling storage & maintenance throughout the year).
- Coordinate the NEC Events diary and monitor the Event Liaison inbox. This will include managing requests for out-of-tenancy Hall access and works from all internal stakeholders and updating notes.
- Lead on liaison meetings and manage access to our halls.
- Support the Event Managers to set up events on all relevant systems and with any other event related duties.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in an administrative role dealing with a variety of daily tasks, experience liaising with internal and external stakeholders, as well as excellent IT knowledge across all Microsoft applications. It is essential that you have excellent customer service skills as well as the ability to communicate with both external and internal stakeholders at all levels. Experience of using Microsoft Dynamics is desirable but the ability to learn new systems quickly is essential. Ideally you will have a background or interest in working with events.
We believe in people to people (we are a people first business), love of difference (because embracing and celebrating difference brings our business to life) and being moment makers (memories are made here – so we make every moment matter).
