Manchester Central continues association success with four multi-year wins
The north of England's leading conference and events venue has secured multi-year deals with four major national associations.
The British Dental Association (BDA) has confirmed it will return to Manchester Central for the next three years following the continued success of the annual conference and exhibition, which has been hosted at the venue since 2012.
Sarah Rockliff, Events Executive at the BDA said: “We've held our event at Manchester Central for the past three years and we've developed a strong working relationship with the team who understand our unique demands and requirements; from catering to AV and everything in-between.
“Manchester Central's facilities provide the flexibility needed to suit all aspects of our event, which attracts around 5,000 attendees each year. We always feel confident running our event at Manchester Central and look forward to working with the team in 2017 and beyond.â€'
The Pension and Lifetime Savings Association and the Royal Microscopical Society have also committed to bring their events to Manchester Central bi-annually until 2023 and 2021 respectively.
The British Cardiovascular Society – which has made use of the venue's state-of-the-art facilities since 2014 – has also chosen Manchester Central to host its annual conference and exhibition until 2023.
The industry-leading venue will build-upon this success later in the year when it hosts the Association of British Professional Conference Organisers' Excellence Awards – the first time the event will be held in the north of England.
Angie Robinson, CEO of Manchester Central, said: “Manchester Central's unrivalled flexibility and established reputation for hosting world-class events is a huge draw for national associations and I'm delighted that they continue to choose the venue to host their major conferences and events year-on-year. Securing future business is always a priority and we look forward to welcoming both new and returning associations to the venue in coming years.â€'
Other leading national associations confirmed to return to Manchester Central next year include the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development and the British Insurance Brokers' Association.Â
