World-leading education association set to return to Manchester Central
Manchester has been triumphant in its bid to host Europe's largest gathering of educational advancement professionals.
Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Europe's four-day annual conference takes place from 31st August – 3rd September this year and the association has already confirmed it will return to Manchester Central for an additional future event.
Serving educational institutions across the world, each event will attract around 1,000 national and international experts in education; which in turn will provide a £4.9m boost to the local economy.
Manchester Central continues to attract leading international events including the 6th World Congress on Ecological Restoration and International Surgical Week both set to take place in 2015; further bolstering the venue's reputation as a global competitor.
CASE Europe previously held events at Manchester Central in 2011 and 2013, the success of which was a key driver in its decision to return.
Carolee Summers-Sparks, Interim Executive Director for CASE Europe said: “We are extremely happy to return to the vibrant city of Manchester to host our 2015 annual conference. Manchester Central is an iconic venue in the heart of the city and is easily accessible for our conference delegates who travel from across the UK and rest of Europe.â€'
Angie Robinson, Chief Executive of Manchester Central, said: “I'm delighted that events are choosing to continue building on their success at Manchester Central. Our world class offer continues to attract leading national and international events and I'm so pleased that such high-profile events are returning to Manchester year on year.â€'
