As an education establishment with event management courses, we invite you to use us as the conduit between our members and your students through our academic associate status.

Our members are committed to the ethos of AEV, of bringing the venue community together and to providing time to help your students gain insight into the real life experience of working within the venue events industry.
Displaying our academic associate logo will broadcast your relationship with us and our members.
Our event managers working group consists of over 90 event management professionals from our member venues.
Our member network will offer your students access to a broad learning experience.
You will be able host event managers working group meetings, obtain industry professional guest speakers, seek work experience, site visits and support for any experiential events for your students.
Allow us to open the doors to the event venue community for your students through our diverse community of UK and international venue members.
Your faculty will gain access to our global venue member portfolio and help you utilise these connections to initiate and evolve mentor programmes and placements for your event management students.
Your students will be able to apply their theory and experience the nature of working in an event venue.

The AEV endorsement framework addresses four key attributes: technical skills, professional attributes, core values and events and venues expertise.
It aims to provide assurance to students, teaching academia and to future event industry employers.
Endorsement is open to any AEV academic associate member.
Many of our members provide opportunities for event management students through placements giving them the option to attend our event managers working group.
Our member Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre does just that. Hospitality and Events North magazine featured Event Management student Shelly Sharma's placement experience.
